Emma Everts: Pilates, ballet, and contemporary

Emma started dancing at the age of 3 where she grew up in Southern California. Emma danced at Orange County Dance Center until she was 17. She grew up competing in dance competitions as well as a heavy background of classical ballet. At the age of 17, Emma moved to Milwaukee Ballet to join their pre professional program and was promoted the following year to start her professional career with the 2nd company. Starting her professional career in ballet was a dream come true. While In Milwaukee, she received her Pilates teacher training and began teaching whilst dancing full time. Emma also obtained her degree in health science during her time dancing. After 2 years dancing professionally in Milwaukee, Emma moved to Pensacola to dance as a corps de ballet member of Ballet Pensacola. She danced another 2 years professionally with Ballet Pensacola. Although dancing herself will always hold a special place in her heart, Emma has found a passion and love in teaching. Emma teaches Pilates, ballet, and contemporary and she couldn’t be more grateful!
